1. Who we are and what this covers
Quiz.ng is responsible for the information collected through this marketing website and its enquiry form. You can contact us at hello@quiz.ng.
This notice covers website visitors, demo enquiries, prospective partners and related follow-up. It does not replace the specific agreements and notices required for an organisation’s use of the platform or a participant’s use of a live campaign. Our approach is informed by the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and applicable guidance from the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
2. Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, agency or organisation, enquiry type, any message you choose to include, and your permission for us to respond. We record the submission time and the version of the privacy notice shown with the form.
Our team may record internal notes, conversation status and follow-up dates to manage your enquiry. Please do not include sensitive personal information, passwords, confidential client documents or participant records.
Operating the website also involves technical request information, such as an IP address, browser information and request times. Security controls use short-lived, protected references to limit abusive submissions. The enquiry record itself does not store your IP address.
3. Why we use information
We use enquiry information to understand your request, respond to you, discuss a potential demo or partnership, and keep an appropriate record of the conversation. We rely on the permission you give when submitting the form for that enquiry handling. You can withdraw it by contacting us.
We use necessary technical information to operate and protect the website, prevent misuse and investigate faults. These are legitimate interests in providing a functioning, secure service, balanced against the rights of visitors. Where information must be retained or disclosed to meet a legal obligation, that obligation is the basis for the relevant processing.
Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails. The form does not send your message to an AI generation service, and we do not use enquiries to make automated decisions about you.
6. How long we keep information
Enquiry records and their internal notes are scheduled for automatic deletion after 12 months without recorded team activity. If there is no follow-up, the period starts when you submit the enquiry. Records marked as spam are scheduled for deletion after 30 days.
Deletion runs through scheduled maintenance. Non-content audit records can remain to record that an operator action or deletion occurred. Email delivery metadata may remain for operational investigation; it does not contain a copy of your enquiry message.
Copies may remain in protected backups until those backups expire. Correspondence handled in an email mailbox is separate from the website’s enquiry record and is reviewed according to the purpose of the conversation and any applicable legal obligations. Contact us if you want us to review or erase information held about your enquiry.
7. Your choices and rights
Subject to the applicable law and its exceptions, you may ask to access your personal information, correct inaccuracies, erase information, restrict processing, object to relevant processing, or receive information in a portable form where that right applies. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing already carried out on that basis.
You can make a request by emailing hello@quiz.ng. We may need proportionate information to confirm that we are dealing with the right person. We will explain any limitation that prevents us from fulfilling a request.
The enquiry form is intended for business conversations with adults. It is not intended to collect information from children.
8. Questions, complaints and changes
For privacy questions, a withdrawal of permission or a complaint, contact hello@quiz.ng. Please describe the enquiry or issue so we can locate the relevant information without asking for unnecessary details.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
We may update this notice when our practices or requirements change. The effective date and version above identify the notice currently published. Your enquiry records the version presented when you submitted it.
